TDAI Core Faculty member Rongjun Qin and a team of three GRA/students were recognized at the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Congress that was held in Nice, France, June 6-11. The ISPRS congress is the largest in the geoinformation field, occurring every four years, and attracts over 1,000 in-person attendees.

Qin and team presented five presentations and two posters during the congress. Qin received the ISPRS CATCON silver award to develop software advancing teaching & education in photogrammetry for the community, while the team's paper with collaborators from Italy received best poster award. In addition, Qin was elected as the secretary of ISPRS' technical commission II.
