Berger-Wolf co-authors policy brief on citizen science and AI
TDAI faculty director Dr. Tanya Berger-Wolf was a contributor to a research policy brief published by the Computing Research Association's Computing Community Consortium, entitled Imagine All the People: Citizen Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Computational Research. Washington: D.C.: Computing Community Consortium.
The paper focused on human-machine partnership, including the "many humans - many machines" version, as the major research focus at the intersection of participatory science and computing, with AI as the enabler and with all the opportunities, challenges, and pitfalls of any human-machine partnership, scaled.
The Computing Research Association regularly publishes quadrennial papers that explore computing research areas and issues of national relevance, including potential research directions and recommendations.
