Congratulations to TDAI Core Faculty Laura Pomeroy, assistant professor of environmental health sciences in the College of Public Health, was honored with the college’s 2022 Excellence in Teaching Award.

Pomeroy, an expert in disease ecology, infectious disease modeling and viral evolution, was nominated for the honor by multiple colleagues and students. “She is so excited to teach the material to her class, and it is contagious," wrote undergraduate Morgan McCracken.
