On April 1st we launched our first Buckeye Funder campaign to help offset some of the costs for our annual Data Science for All summer camp. Our camp has been offered at no cost to participants since it started in 2017. 

This year is our first back on campus since the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020. Our participants will be entering grades 7-9 this fall and come from a variety of schools and backgrounds.

Some facts about our 2023 applicants:

• 46 students applied for 30 spots
• 30% of applicants attend Columbus City Schools.
• 60% of applicants are girls
• 76% of applicants self-identified as under-represented populations in STEM (as defined by NSF)

One way to support our camp is to give to our Buckeye Funder campaign, which will be active through May 16, 2023. Gifts can be made in any amount and are tax deductible.
