Jenny Grabmeier studies the science of team science and works with TDAI researchers to form interdisciplinary teams, develop big data-enabled concepts and proposals around strategic opportunities, devise strategies for scaling efforts and broadening impact, and initiate large grants. As team lead for TDAI's research strategy and community-building, she oversees TDAI's research grant programs and designs and facilitates workshops and other activities to convene collaborators around shared interests and strategic opportunities. As a member of active research teams, she also contributes team science, communications and project management expertise to interdisciplinary projects enable productivity, knowledge integration, and effective training and implementation.

Prior to joining TDAI full time in 2021, Jenny was a principal and co-owner Gifted Communications, a boutique creative agency specializing in non-profit communications, where she consulted for a variety of clients including arts centers, civic organizations, universities and other academic entities including TDAI. Before that, she was communications director at The Ohio State University Foundation, where she played a key role in launching the university's first $1B comprehensive campaign and co-authored the OSU's first brand guidelines. Prior roles also include communications manager for BalletMet Columbus, arts editor of a weekly alternative newspaper, graphic designer for a central Ohio homebuilder, and pre-press designer for a chain of community newspapers.
