  • Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, specifically Colorectal Cancer Survivors
  • Sociobiological mechanisms of symptom toxicity in GI cancers –
    1. focusing on microbiome-brain-gut interactions, GI and psychoneurological symptoms in long-term cancer survivors, including multi-omics (genetics, microbiomes, metabolomics).
    2. Roles of race and SDOH on inflammatory fecal microbiota and symptom disparities.
    3. Lifestyle behavioral interventions to manage long-term and late symptom toxicities for racial and ethnic minority population.
  • Hospice and Palliative care for vulnerable cancer populations (Gero-oncology, Racial and ethnic minority cancer survivors) at home and in the community settings.
  • Methods: Big data analysis, machine learning, AI-based approach, Quantitative Research methodology.
