Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Professor Hirsch’s research interests lie at the intersection of governance theory and information privacy law, and he has written extensively in this area. He also writes about data analytics law and policy, European data protection law, comparative information privacy law, and the lessons that environmental law can provide for privacy governance. Professor Hirsch co-directs TDAI’s Responsible Data Science research community of practice.
