TDAI and ICDT host symposium examining (Large Language Models + X) from diverse perspectives

Assoc. Professor Huan Sun speaks to an audience in a bright room with high ceilings

The Ohio State Symposium on Large Language Models hosted Oct. 2 by TDAI's Foundations of Data Science & AI community of practice and the Institute for Cybersecurity & Digital Trust brought together an incredible combination of speakers and attendees to examine LLMs from diverse interdisciplinary perspectives. Organized by TDAI core faculty and CoP co-directors and ICDT affiliates Dr. Huan Sun (computer science and engineering), Dr. Subhadeep Paul (statistics) and Dr. Raef Bassily (computer science and engineering), the daylong event was designed to help delineate tangible opportunities for collaborations fusing LLM researchers' expertise with the proficiency of domain experts in field X to address grand challenges, societal needs and national priorities. Check out the lineup.
