Our lab studies evolutionary and ecological genomics, ecology, and animal behavior in order to understand the processes involved in adaptation and speciation. We have concentrated mostly on, but are not limited to, wild mammal populations and are largely concerned with demographic inference, phylogeography, comparative genomics, and the genetic architecture of both ecologically important traits and reproductive isolation. We strive for an integrative research program that utilizes data from both the field and the lab. We also have experience in applied research and have worked on conservation issues of endangered species and wildlife management.
