300+ Fall Forum participants explore the forefront of Data for Good, Ethically
More than 300 attendees and presenters at the forefront of data science and analytics in society examined challenges and opportunities around "Data for Good, Ethically" at the Translational Data Analytics Institute's 2021 Fall Forum, held online and in Pomerene Hall Nov. 2-3.
The lively hybrid gathering featured keynote speaker Joanna J. Bryson, PhD, Professor of Ethics and Technology at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin; six sessions that discussed subjects ranging from smart mobility to art and data; a networking reception; a poster session that showcased innovative work by 35 participants and included awards; and representatives from 10 OSU and external partner organizations.
